Good oral health
Good oral health is an essential aspect of patients’ general well-being.
Our dentists offer all of the common general dentistry treatments for adults and children: treatment of cavities, root canal treatment, tooth extraction, aesthetic treatments, descaling and orthodontics.
A maxillofacial doctor is available to perform minor surgery such as insertion of implants, wisdom tooth extraction etc.
Oral health contributes to the well-being of every individual.
Regular dental check-ups form part of essential medical care.
Good dental hygiene and regular check-ups are the keys to good oral health and a beautiful smile. Smiling extends life expectancy, reduces stress and has a positive impact on others. A beautiful smile gives you confidence and well-being in your daily life, both in your professional and personal life.
With this in mind, we offer our patients comprehensive dental care.
Paediatric dentistry
Paediatric dentistry is concerned with prevention, treatment of cavities and early detection of any potential need for orthodontic treatment to avoid future functional problems linked to swallowing or breathing.
From the first appointment, paediatric dentists aim to build a trusting relationship with the child and ensure their experience is a positive and non-traumatic one, so they can happily continue in this vein throughout the rest of their life.
Starting age
As soon as a child’s first teeth emerge (around 6 months), it is important to implement a good oral hygiene routine and a healthy diet and to prevent the development of diseases. The primary objective is to avoid cavities in milk teeth.
Frequency of dental hygiene appointments for children
A check-up every six months is recommended for children. This is because dental cavities progress quickly in children without any symptoms or pain.
Often, the frequency of check-ups will vary depending on how thoroughly the child cleans their teeth and thus their risk of cavities.
Children with cavities and poor oral hygiene will of course require more frequent check-ups. The risk potential is evaluated at every appointment.
